On 13th of June, 2011, the comprehensive MOU was signed by the government of Rota and our company to propel core projects for the purpose of development of local economy in Rota Island of CNMI located in West Pacific area.
Under wholehearted support from Mr. Benigno Repeki Fitial, the Governor of CNMI, Mr. Melchor A. Mendiola, Mayor of ROTA and our CEO, Mr. Choi who appointed as a honorary ambassador of Municipality of ROTA by the Mayor agreed to progress harbor facility construction project for marine transportation to contribute local economy development and building project of electric power generation facility through Waste-to energy plant, HTCW from German KBI Group, and signed on the MOU to propel a combined project upon mutual deep trust and active cooperation.
Facilities developed from the project will be infrastructures for local economy development. This project will be entrusted to our company exclusively to carry out a master plan to maintain environmentally friendly sustainable business and invite at least 100Million Us Dollar scale fund to the project.
In behalf of Rota government leading the evolution of local maritime merchandise distribution and producing environmentally friendly energy, our company already launched a task for feasibility study to accomplish project master plan setting up task force team for the project of economic development of ROTA in order to bring back local economy having been kept on worsening after World War II.
